Wearing Nazi-era decorations was banned in Germany after the war, as was any display of the swastika. The backing cloth is of the Luftwaffe bluey grey colour. The cross has not been mounted or worn and is complete with its original paper backing to the reverse. The cross is of standard quality and construction and fits a number 20 exactly. The cross has a nice metal gold wreath, with the rest of the design executed in cotton and bullion threads.
A black enameled swastika was placed at the center.
